You've been playing World of Warcraft for a few weeks or months and by now you've already decided that trying to find the best strategies by yourself is a bit more time-consuming than you had anticipated. So you've decided to get your hands on a WoW strategy guide. The problem is, which one do you get first? After all, you want to level to 70 fast and get llots more gold
But there's just no way you're shelling out dough for two guides at once. So which one do you pick?
I personally would make a Warcraft leveling guide my first choice. While the WoW gold guides definitely provide tips on farming gold even with lower level characters, all the best gold making methods can only be done by higher level characters. So if you start with a 1-70 Leveling Guide, you can launch your character up into the 50th level or so before even spending all that much time trying to get more gold.
Once you've leveled your character into the mid-50s, it's time to get a WoW gold guide and start implementing those strategies along with your leveling game. Then you'll hit 70 with a lot more gold in your bag.
Can you use a gold guide at the lower levels?
Sure, you can. In fact, they're a great source of tips for making gold even for low level characters. When it comes down to it, whether you choose one type of guide over another ultimately depends on what your own goals for playing are. I suggest a leveling guide on the assumption that you want to level to 70 as quickly as possible. But if your intention is to amass as much gold as possible and you're more interested in manipulating the in-game economy and becoming a master of the Warcraft Auction Houses, then maybe you don't care if it takes you a few months to get to 70, especially if by the time you get there you have tons of loot. In that case, of course, a gold guide makes much more sense for you.
One of the things I like to say, and I'll say it again now, is that World of Warcraft is really what you want it to be. It can be a game in which you join raiding parties and socialize with your friends as you kill mobs; it can be a game in which you fine tune your capitalist instincts by becoming an Auction House mogul who other characters buy everything they need from; or it can be a game which you play almost entirely by yourself as you race your own best times or just wander off to explore. And those are just some of your options for playing and not even close to all of them.
